Jamar Scott joined the BCRC in 2015. He attended Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business where he completed his bachelor’s in accounting. Jamar obtained his Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation at Uqam University. While attending university, he has participated in various student committees and case competitions. Jamar has been involved in the community since 2005, whence he has served as a Teacher’s Assistant and summer counselor for the Québec Board of Black Educators, a community youth mentor and Events and Logistics Coordinator at the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi de Côte-des-Neiges, and Youth Administrator at Coopérative Jeunesse de Services. Jamar currently works within deal advisory practice at KPMG LLP.
